Christmas in August: Veggie Roaster/BBQ Widget

So have you ever tried to do asparagus on the grill and then end up losing most of them to the fire? Well NOOO more… Get a veggie basket. Not that rank matters, but everyone is getting on veggie basket bus (SEE BELOW). I got one of these from the In-laws for Christmas and since I just started this blog thing, it’s fair to review Christmas gear in August, wish I had thought of it in July, it would have aligned a little more.

So the net is – you can have healthy vegetables at every meal you cook outdoors. While not recommended by the manufacturer, I cooked bacon in it once and clearly understand why. It causes copious amounts of flammage which turns your bacon quickly into dog treats. To avoid the bacon experiment, I have put the product overview in for you:

Features

  • Vegetable basket; sits atop an outdoor grill
  • Ideal for grilling small vegetable slices
  • Made of 430-grade stainless steel
  • Can also function as an outdoor wok
  • Dishwasher-safe

Never really thought of a pan having features, but i guess they do.
