Tangy Broccoli Salad

Summer is a great time for salads – especially when it is hot as all get out!  So here is a recipe for a little light snacky salad – actually refreshing on the palate.  Here’s what you need:

  • 3/4 cup Light Salad Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets (6 cups) – a floret is the end point.
  • 6 slices bacon chunk/bits, crisply cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 1 small red onion, chopped

MIX dressing, sugar and vinegar in large bowl.

ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour before serving.
