After all, how often is it that you see someone drinking from directly from the wine bottle? Or trying to push the cork out with their finger? Not often, especially if they are a real wine lover.

You need the right tools so you can really enjoy your wine in style. There are many different accessories and tools that you will use to assist you in enjoying your wine. The following list highlights some the more commonly known and used tools.

With that in mind, choose your wine glass carefully.

- Wine Bottle Opener: This is a tool used to open a wine bottle with a cork. Many newer bottle designs do not use the old style cork, but older bottles will require this tool if you wish to open it. One thing to look for is an opener that is easy for you to use. There are many different designs and you should choose the style that works best for you.

- Wine Cooler: For the person serious about their wine, there is the wine cooler. This is a special chilling system that is like a refrigerator but specially designed to chill wine. It duplicates the humidity and temperature of a wine cellar, yet keeps the wine close by for easy access.

- Wine Decanter: A decanter is a glass serving tool. The wine is poured into the decanter to help improve the wines taste. The wine is then served from the decanter. They are available in many different designs and styles.

- Wine Rack: A wine rack is a storage place for wine bottles. It is designed for the best possible storage of wine which is usually so the bottles lay on their side and slanted so the wine is on the cork and prevents it from drying out, which can spoil the wine.

- Wine Collar: A wine collar is a nice tool that goes around the bottle neck to prevent any drips that can occur when the wine is poured. This is a wonderful thing to have to prevent staining of linen tablecloths.

- Wine Stopper: This is use to close a bottle that has not been completely emptied. It helps to seal up the bottle so the wine stays fresh and doesn’t lose flavor.
